Why the Internet is getting stranger … and how you can use it

The internet has always been strange, but it is getting stranger. And if you're a blogger, marketer, or business owner, there are some important ways to take advantage of this trend.

First of all, what do we mean by "strange"? "Strange" is a vague term here refers to the relative darkness of content on the web; in other words, a piece of "strange" content is a piece of content that treats an unpopular or new topic or examines a topic in an inventive or strange way.

In combination with an effective marketing strategy, this can be extremely effective. Once you've set an initial visibility threshold for your work, the rest will take care of themselves. Your niche audience will be much more likely to discover and share your content, resulting in an eternal snowball effect.

The Call of Clickbait

We also have to take into account that most of the online world is structured to generate clicks as the ultimate goal. Search engine algorithms, social media algorithms and even reputable news sites aim to get as many clicks from users as possible.

On the surface, there is nothing to complain about, but it does not require much introspection or analysis. Note that these algorithms are ultimately optimized for strong emotional responses.
