Religious Artifacts

It is not surprising that the Vatican has all kinds of religious artifacts. After all, it is the largest bastion of Christianity in the world. [3] And on top of that, it is one of the oldest still existing institutions in the world. No wonder that the Vatican allegedly has all sorts of religious artifacts. From the cross on which Jesus Christ died, to the holy grail, the ark, the ark of Noah. It has been rumored that pretty much every major Christian artifact is kept somewhere in the Vatican Secret Archives. However, it was also rumored that lesser known and bizarre religious artifacts are also hidden there. Some are so bizarre that the ordinary layperson is unlikely to have heard of them at all. Some of the less strange are Jesus' foreskin, the actual undegraded body of Christ, or even the crown of thorns that Jesus wore during his crucifixion. [4]

9 The bones of St. Peter

1939 Nine separate pieces of bone were found under St. Peter's Basilica, the world's largest church and the center of the Vatican city-state. Even more surprising is that the bones were found in a humble, humble shoebox. [5] In 2013 Pope Francis presented the bones to the public at a Sunday service before closing them again. They were not seen by the public. Nobody knows whether they really are the bones of St. Peter, scholars and skeptics, are skeptical. Instead of showing the bones in public or allowing scholars to test their claims, the Vatican has excluded them from further public visits. The Vatican claims that this is due to a supposedly 1000-year-old curse for those who disturb the peace of St. Peter's Tomb. However, skeptics believe that this is an excuse. [6]

8 Secular historical evidence of Jesus 'existence / nonexistence

Supposedly, somewhere deep in the Vatican Secret Archives, there is evidence of Jesus' existence or lack thereof. Allegedly, there is a recorded conversation in the Vatican Secret Archives between Emperor Nero of Rome and the disciple Paul, who was transcribed in some form. If so, depending on the content of the conversation, it could theoretically either indisputably confirm the existence of Jesus as a historical person or refute his entire existence and establish him as completely fictitious. Both could rewrite history as we know it. If there is evidence that Jesus did not exist, it is no wonder that the Vatican is hiding him. However, if they have evidence of Jesus' existence, who knows why they would keep such information secret? Whatever the case, it is believed that such history-changing evidence is included in the Vatican Secret Archives. And as long as it stays that way, we won't know for sure. [7]

7 The Chronovisor

The Chronovisor was described by Father François Brune in his 2002 book Le Nouveau Mystère du Vatican, which was allegedly created and owned by the Vatican. This device was theoretically built by the world's greatest scientists in the 1950s. The project was theoretically funded by the Vatican for reasons not specified. The device should work like glasses and be worn against the face. It was theoretically able to display past events. It supposedly worked by processing electromagnetic radiation left over from past events and converting it into visual images and audio data. Father Brune claimed to have witnessed historical events such as the crucifixion of Christ and a performance of the lost tragedy of Thyestes. Apparently it was dismantled shortly after it was created. Because the church hierarchy was concerned that it was too powerful for one person or group. If it exists, all evidence for it will be safely hidden in the Vatican Secret Archives. [8]

6 The third secret of Fatima

In the small Portuguese town of Fatima. Three young shepherd children are said to have seen numerous visions of the Virgin Mary. This was said to culminate in a mass miracle in which the sun was involved. In the first secret, the children reportedly saw the fires of hell filled with terrible demons and the suffering souls of the damned. In the second vision, they saw that World War I would end soon, but World War II would begin almost immediately if the Pope did not dedicate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. However, the third secret was kept secret until 2000, when it allegedly concerned the persecution of Christians in the 20th century and the assassination attempt on Pope John Paul the Second. However, some people are convinced that the third secret published was not the same one that was revealed to the children of Fatima. Whatever the case, if the revealed secret was a fake, it is possible that the real secret is hidden somewhere in the Vatican Archives. [9]

5 The Devil

Some people have speculated that the Catholic Church is a demonic institution. However, some go a step further and claim that Satan himself is held in the Vatican Secret Archives. The oldest exorcist in the Vatican, Father Gabriele Amorth, had carried out thousands of exorcisms before his early death. He had reportedly spoken to the devil himself at some point in his career, although the circumstances of this encounter are unknown. Amorth claimed that Satan himself was hiding somewhere in the Vatican. According to Father Gabriele Amorth, the recent scandals and corruption within the church can all be attributed to the devil himself. Why the devil is kept in the Vatican and why they keep him secret is unknown. [10]

4 The Grand Grimoire

The Grand Grimoire is a purported medieval book that is believed to be immense powers. It was written in the 16th century by Honorius of Thebes, who claimed to be obsessed with the devil himself. In the book you will find instructions on how to craft magical talismans and amulets, how to craft spells and even how to summon demons. But the most alarming thing is that there are even instructions on how to summon the devil yourself and make a deal with him. Many copies were made after the publication of the original, but only the Vatican has the original copy unchanged. Some claim that the others are fake or have been modified to make them worthless. Others claim that all copies have some power, but the original copy of the Vatican is the most powerful. However, according to some, the Vatican is the only real, functional copy to protect humanity from unimaginable carnage if the book falls into the wrong hands. [11]

3 Paintings of the True Jesus

Contrary to what is taught in Sunday School, Jesus was a Hebrew who lived in the mountainous regions of northern Israel. Therefore, he would almost certainly have looked more Middle Eastern than often depicted. As a result, the real, historical Jesus would not have looked the way it is portrayed in popular culture (much of it is based on the face of the very pretty Cesare Borgia). However, some people believe that the Vatican has at least one contemporary representation of the appearance of Jesus. If this is true, it would not only be undeniable evidence of the existence of Jesus a few years after Jesus' death, but would also give a rare glimpse into the physical appearance of such an ancient historical figure. Whether it exists or why the Vatican keeps such earth-shattering information secret is unknown and controversial. [12]

2 Evidence for Foreigners

Foreigners are almost always a cover-up for many conspiracy theorists, and the Vatican is no exception. Some claim that in 1998 skulls with elongated heads and small faces were found under the Vatican, which resemble the aliens from the alien franchise. Since then, the Vatican has apparently kept all evidence of aliens secret so as not to discredit Christianity. Some still believe that the Vatican has much more direct evidence of extraterrestrials, and some even claim that there are several living extraterrestrials in the Vatican Secret Archives. Why they would keep aliens secret and why such aliens would of all people live in the Vatican Secret Archives is unknown. [13]

1 Nothing

Perhaps the most disappointing and by far the most likely theory is the idea that the Vatican Secret Archives have no earth-shattering secrets at all. The Vatican Secret Archives may have sparked an intrigue with the name, but in fact this is actually a mistranslation. Indeed, "secret" is incorrectly translated. In the Latin original, the word "secretum" does not literally mean "secret" because it was translated incorrectly, but would be translated more precisely as "personal". "The Vatican's Personal Archive" triggers much less intrigue for a reason. Mistranslation could have paved the way for so many theories of what might be hidden in the archive walls. And unless the Vatican publishes its entire archive, we will never know for sure. [14]
