If you take a moment to think about what are called “breakfast foods,” you will find that most of them are only slightly different iterations of foods that are not limited to morning meals. Muffins are basically cupcakes with less frosting, and Canadian-style bacon is very similar to pork loin (it is). Once you’ve overcome those breakfast barriers in your head, you’re just a small step away from eating macaroni and cheese at 7:00 a.m. – which, according to Kraft, is perfectly acceptable.
As reported by CNN, Kraft publishes boxes of its classic mac and cheese with the word breakfast written where it normally says dinner. That way, parents can feel better about deviating from societal expectations as they try to keep their belligerent children fed and happy during the current pandemic.
“As a brand that is loved by the whole family, we have learned that Kraft Mac & Cheese is not only suitable for dinner,”
Apparently some people have already mentally removed dinner Out of the box: In a survey of 1,000 parents, Kraft found that 56 percent of them had whipped mac and cheese more often during the lockdown in the morning. And if they felt a little guilty about not breaking out the waffle iron, Kraft hopes they won’t do it anymore.
Macaroni and cheese lovers can try grabbing a breakfast box by tweeting with the hashtags #KMCforBreakfast and #Sweepstakes. You will receive a reply to your tweet with a link indicating whether you have won. The campaign runs through Friday, August 7th, and Kraft will donate 10 boxes of mac and cheese to the nonprofit Feed the Children for each entry (winner or not).
Even if you don’t win a particular box of breakfast, there is no reason why you can’t get yourself a daybreak dinner. Why do you limit yourself to classical strength? Cheetos-flavored macs and cheese are also hit the shelves.
