As one of the most culturally diverse cities in the United States Jersey City has an exciting and vibrant arts and culture scene that is getting bigger and bigger every year, with a special focus on public art. Even rare visitors to the city have probably noticed the many vibrant murals they adorn.
This is very thanks to of the Jersey City Mural Arts Program
. an initiative of the Mayor's Office that combines established and emerging local, national and international muralists with property owners throughout the city as part of an innovative beautification program. The program, which has been running for seven years, has transformed the city into an outdoor art gallery with the help of artists such as Seth, Ruben Sánchez, Pixel Pancho, Eduardo Cobra, MadC and Faith47.
