The report made it clear that the only people in the room for this conversation were Sanders and Warren. How would anyone else know what was said?
Warren confirmed the report and said, "I thought a woman could win, he disagreed."
The controversy was also the unofficial focus of last night's debate in which Bernie denied the allegation, which she called "Incomprehensible" as Warren swayed out, pointing to the election / loss rate of herself and her colleague as proof that a woman could be president, an argument that – again – is literally no-one. By the way, if there is someone who shouldn't open old wounds, it's Warren. Sanders may have lost a few elections, but he won them before Warren was a democrat.
In any case, the gloves are now broken and our debt-saddled millennial donkeys must hope that these two manage to keep it (relatively) civil so that our only hope of a respectable presidency rests with Joe Biden.
