There are many places where artists use artists to work on pictures, but I stumbled upon Jan Oliehoek and was overwhelmed with what he did. His image manipulations of animals are almost spectacular and I only had to share some of his work. Jan was kind enough to provide some of his unpublished and new work here on Digital Bus Stop. Enjoy and visit his website to see more artworks by this talented artist.
You do not find this little guy on Jan's website, but he's absolutely adorable a combination of a mouse and a duck.
Ok, so it's not an animal, but it's a really great picture and another you will not find at Jan's website. I'm doing you a favor here, folks.
Cute little animals and a girl who finds friends. Love the heart in the speech bubble.
Raise your hands if you DO NOT take a miniature Dr Agon. It would be much better than a Zippo lighter.
Similar to these frogfish, you can see pictures of them without the creepy teeth and the nightmare causing faces.
While every cat I ever knew was as skilful as any gecko wanted, those tiny, sticky fingers make it weirdly cute.
My only concern with this little guy is that hippos are notoriously nasty.
That's how I always came to giraffes in the water. Partially cow part, all hairless, very sweet.
Another hippopotamus … this looks like this He gives the stinking eye. They said they were mean.
A nightmare combination of a jellyfish and something from the Matrix.
This little guy seems to have gotten over his head. Looks like a still picture from a Disney movie.
The day scientists develop small zebra-gecko blends, I'll be the first to get one. SO CUTE!
