Cabins could make a comeback

Don't let a missing ingredient thwart your cooking projects. If your pantry looks a little sparse due to coronavirus bottlenecks, or you forgot to grab a particular product on your last trip to the grocery store, you don't have to throw your meal preparation plans to the trash. Check out these 30 substitutions for basic cooking and baking ingredients.

1. Applesauce as a substitute for oil

This substitute adds moisture to baked goods without the fat contained in oil. Use a 1: 1 ratio, e.g. B. 1/2 cup applesauce for 1/2 cup of oil. It tastes particularly good in muffins, banana bread and coffee cakes. It also works with brownies ̵
