CIA agents Falling in Love With The Investment Agency's Ponzi System As Cover

Ronald Rewald was the hottest 1980s Playboy in Hawaii, an incredibly hot spot full of playboys. He was one of the richest men in Honolulu, so of course the CIA was pleased when he patriotically offered to use his investment firm Bishop, Baldwin, Rewald, Dillingham and Wong for a cover story. A number of undercover agents received "day jobs" pretending to work with Bishop Baldwin. Unfortunately, Rewald also pretended to work with Bishop Baldwin because the entire company was in fact a Ponzi program.

Bishop, Baldwin and Dillingham were not even real people, just the names of wealthy Hawaiian celebrities (it was basically the equivalent of a company called Rockefeller, Vanderbilt & McDuck). Rewald himself covered up a criminal record in Wisconsin, which he cleverly prohibited the CIA by telling them not to. An official justified this by saying that Rewald was "a champion sprinter, a former professional footballer, a pilot, a devout churchgoer and a highly successful businessman," in addition to an all-round stayer. When he was later asked where he got all this information from, he replied that Rewald had told him.
