10 famous inventions that you do not believe were inspired by dreams

Dreams are usually ignored when the brain tries to see through the activities of the sleeping person's day and try to make sense of them. They can also be the product of fear and come to us in the form of nightmares. Repeated dreams often occur when we rethink a problem we have not solved yet, or force ourselves to counter fears that we would rather not address. However, the nature of dreams is not fully understood, as we have barely begun to tap into the vastness of the human mind.

Surprisingly, dreams have often been the inspiration for some of the greatest ideas and inventions in the world. Here are Top 10 Famous Inventions Inspired by Dreams ̵

1; The 10 famous things you will not believe were invented in dreams.

The 19th century American engineer, Elias Howe , had gotten his idea for the world's first automatic sewing machine from a dream. He had tried to construct a lockstitch machine, and his attempts had been unsuccessful. He persuaded himself why this was so, he went to sleep troubled and had a nightmare of Tribesmen with spears attacking him, and when each spear was thrown at him, he noticed that they had eye holes in the top, and he recognized his mistake placed the hole in the middle of the automatic needle. He also changed the design in mirror that of his dream, placing the hole at the top instead.

On September 10, 1846, two years after his dream, he patented his design for the lockstitch sewing machine.

The design made it possible to produce clothing in larger quantities and reduce costs. Mass production meant that for the first time, some working-class people could afford to buy new clothes instead of looking in second-hand markets. It paved the way for the High Street Store experience and changed our lives.

Friedrich August Kekule, a German chemist, is responsible for the discovery of The Benzene Ring a chemical structure that is used in the preservation of gasoline and is of critical importance to the petrochemical industry.

Friedrich wrote a chemical textbook, but his frustration was not good. He had a dream in which he saw atoms spinning in snakes. One of the atoms then grabbed his "tail" and spun around. When he woke up, he wrote down his theory of benzene ring. Benzene was first used as an industrial solvent and degreaser, followed by an "anti-knock" solution in the fuel (prior to the 1920s, gasoline would often burn prematurely). Its addition to fuel made driving safer and led to widespread use of the car. In many rural areas, getting around today is impossible if you do not have a car and entire cities are built around your motor infrastructure. Some places do not even have a byway, making the car indispensable for A to B.

Benzene is still a component of gasoline, although the Environmental Protection Agency has limited its concentration on fuel due to its unfortunate ability to induce leukemia.

Remember the periodic table that we were English The chemist Dimitri Mendelejew, a Russian chemist who supposedly got the idea for the table out of a dream, wrote a text and tried classifying all the elements, but he fought for it After working at his desk for three days and nights without sleep, he gave up and rested, and as soon as he fell asleep the answers became clear

I saw in a dream a table where all elements hung as needed. Awakening, I immediately wrote it on a sheet of paper, only at one point a correction appeared later necessary.

This fascinating quote about dreaming was written in two psychology books from the 1960s and is mentioned today in science lessons.

The periodic table is important because when new substances are discovered in the future they can be compared to substances from the periodic table to help scientists classify them.

When Lorenzo Odone was diagnosed with adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD), doctors told his devastated parents he would be unlikely to have his tenth birthday ALD is caused by abnormal accumulation of long-chain fatty acids in the blood ur demyelination leads to and cognitive decline, blindness, deafness and spleen loss leads to ch and possible paralysis. Once it is symptomatic, it is always deadly. His parents refused to accept this grim result and began to search medical literature for answers. They continued to hit brick walls.

After a frustrating evening with paperclips to display good fats and bad fats and try to figure out why, as one increased, the other diminished, Lorenzo's father fell asleep. He dreamed of his son and tugged at both paper clips that were one. He realized that both types of fat came from the same enzyme and that this fat could be destroyed by oleic acid. From this dream he was able to formulate a treatment of olive oil and rapeseed oil.

He tested this treatment with Lorenzo's aunt, who carried ALD by adding it to her salad. The treatment, called Lorenzo's oil after Lorenzo Odone, proved effective in preventing the disease in children who had not yet developed symptoms, although there were mixed results for children who already showed signs of the disease. Many symptomatic patients still died. However, Lorenzo himself exceeded expectations and lived until the day after his 30th birthday, a situation ALD patients have never known before.

In 1869, a German medical student named Paul Langerhans identified cells in the pancreas whose function was unknown at that time: what he had discovered were insulin-producing beta cells, in the following years the cells became known after 1889 that, if a dog had removed his pancreas, he would develop diabetes, but if the digestive juices were prevented from reaching the gut, the animal would only have digestive problems, not diabetes Facts: The first was th. The pancreatic juices added digestion, and the second was that the cells in the pancreas somehow prevented diabetes.

In 1920 Dr. Frederick Banting, a surgeon, suggested that digestive juices could damage the Langerhans Islands, and if he stopped their flow, the cells could be preserved and extracted to treat them as diabetes. The idea came to him in a dream, and when he woke up at 2 am on October 31, 1920, he wrote down a few words that would lead to treatment. When the cells were successfully extracted, he injected them into diabetic dogs that became symptom free. He called the treatment "Isletin". An employee later proposed the name insulin.

. 1 Stravinsky's spring sacrifice, the ballet that triggered a rebellion

The classical composer Ignor Stravinsky said he had come up with the chords for the ballet "Rite of Spring" , He also claimed to listen to music psychologically and said in an interview:

I only had my ear to help me. I heard and I wrote what I heard. I am the vessel through which the sacre has gone.

The unusual, crackling chords and unbridled dance movements caused a sensation on the night of the 1913 premiere. The audience began to harass each other because he had different opinions and throwing things in the backyard stage. 40 people were allegedly arrested and one person was challenged to a duel. Nevertheless, most of the spectators watched until the end. There were standing ovations drowned out by interjections. The rite of spring is widely thought to represent the birth of modern music.
